Grab a cocktail at the historic Art Deco Bar and peruse handmade wares such as letterpress cards, jewelry, gifts, and housewares, plus vintage clothing, antiques, and more. This month’s edition includes vendors such as Vandalia Street Press, Heinz Brummel, Lynn Alpert, and Knit-N-Jules, cheese from Love Tree Farms, and Willie Murphy on the grand piano.

Tuesday: History of Hip: Denim
What: Ever since James Dean’s starring turn in Rebel Without a Cause, jeans have been the uniform of youth. Jean McElvain of Goldstein Museum of Design will relate key moments in the working class dungaree’s evolution into an iconic and perennially fashionable garment. l’etoile fashion editor Jahna Peloquin will also be a special guest speaker, addressing modern and future trends in denim. The event is 21-plus and $6 ($5 for MNHS members).
