This weekend’s, it’s all about Halloween. Whether you’re checking out a rock show at Turf Club or Big V’s, or heading to Lowertown for the Boo Crawl festivities, you’re going to need three costumes – and plenty of endurance – to get through it!
THURSDAY

Bennett and Nick's Halloween costumes?
Crud & Puah: Circus in the Clown Lounge at Turf Club
This week’s edition of Circus in the Clown Lounge takes a turn from DJ TRL for a one-time turntable team-up between Turf regulars Bennett Johenson of Daughters of the Sun and Nick Ryan of Leisure Birds. Celebrate St. Paul/SPFA Fundrasier at Chatterbox Pub Highland
The community organizers of such events as Cinco de Mayo Fiesta, Grand Ole Day, St. Paul Winter Carnival, and this weekend’s Día De Los Muertos festivities are raising money to help support ongoing programs. The biggest Day of the Dead celebration in the Twin Cities happens in St. Paul’s District Del Sol; it features a Day of the Little Angels ceremony on Friday and a sugar skull making class, a tour of ofrendas, and a traditional procession and ceremony on Saturday. Sissy Wish
Sissy Wish, The Melismatics, Lookbook & The Squaks at Turf Club
For her third full-length effort, “Beauties Never Die,” Sissy Wish – né Siri Wålberg – Norwegian synth-pop singer Sissy Wish has ditched the folk instruments from her debut album for the quirkier combination of cheap synthesizers, toy organs and fuzzed-out guitars. Also on the bill: undeniably catchy power-pop band The Melismatics, lush electronic two-piece Lookbook, and Baltimore’s The Squaks. (9 p.m. $6. 21-plus. 1601 University Av. Lowertown Boo’s Crawl
Lowertown is the place to be for the Halloween barhopper. For the nominal fee of $10, snag a Boo’s Crawl passport at any participating Lowertown location and get a free drink at each bar/restaurant. Locations for the second annual Lowertown Boo’s Crawl include include Barrio, Black Dog Café, The Bulldog, Rumours & Innuendo, Señor Wong, Station 4 and Tratoria da Vinci.
