A. Michele Boutique
In 2006, Amy Michelle Mullen set out to create her own boutique, styled after her love for all things romantic and vintage, with a dash of rock ‘n roll flair. Two years later, her dream became a reality when she opened the doors to her quaint, feminine shop A. Michele at Selby and Snelling, cementing that intersection’s reputation for being one of the city’s best shopping locales. Her shop carries a mix of feminine fashions, including Ruby Pearl slip dresses (which are made from vintage slips and silk scarves), fitted jackets, silk blouses, jewelry, oversized bags, gifts and more.

With all the excitement about the upcoming third season of Mad Men, everything seems all about the ’50s lately. St. Paul’s no exception – this weekend, Lillian’s on Grand, which tout their selection of fashion accessories at “ridiculously affordable” prices, will be having a ‘50s themed weekend of deals. Anyone dressed in ‘50s styles or driving a classic car gets a free stand of faux pearls. Other specials include a bargain room where you’ll get a free bargain bag free when you buy two, plus $5 off regular priced pink bags. (Thu.-Sun. 841 Grand Av., St. Paul. 651-341-8991.)
